With the rapid development of e-commerce, the importance of timely and accurate logistics distribution has become increasingly significant for both reseller platforms and traditional e-commerce platforms. This study aims to explore and compare the performance of logistics delivery systems in these two types of platforms, focusing on their ability to meet consumer expectations for speed and precision.
Previous studies have highlighted the critical role of logistics in e-commerce. Researchers have found that timely delivery significantly impacts customer satisfaction and loyalty. However, there is limited research focusing specifically on reseller platforms, which often operate differently from traditional e-commerce platforms. This gap in the literature motivates our study.

This study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews. Data will be collected from customer reviews, delivery tracking systems, and interviews with logistics managers. The sample includes 500 orders from reseller platforms and 500 orders from traditional e-commerce platforms.
Preliminary findings indicate that reseller platforms generally have longer delivery times but higher accuracy in order fulfillment. In contrast, traditional e-commerce platforms tend to deliver faster but face occasional issues with order accuracy. These results suggest that reseller platforms may prioritize accuracy over speed, while traditional e-commerce platforms focus more on quick delivery.
The findings highlight the trade-offs between delivery speed and accuracy. Reseller platforms, which often rely on third-party sellers and international shipping, may benefit from investing in better logistics infrastructure to improve delivery times. Meanwhile, traditional e-commerce platforms should focus on reducing errors in order fulfillment to maintain customer trust.
This study provides valuable insights into the logistics performance of reseller and traditional e-commerce platforms. By addressing the identified weaknesses, both types of platforms can enhance their logistics systems to better meet consumer expectations and gain a competitive edge in the market.
